BBQ for breast cancer: Fall CahabaQue raises over $28,000 for breast cancer research in Alabama

Over 700 people spent the afternoon at Cahaba Brewing Company on Sunday, October 9, enjoying BBQ, beer, and music while raising money for breast cancer research at the CahabaQue BBQ Cook-Off. In its 10th year, the BBQ cook-off and fundraiser benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA) raised over $28,000. In combination with the spring event, CahabaQue has raised over $65,000 for local, lifesaving breast cancer research in 2022 alone.

The event featured 14 cook teams who competed for best “CahabaButt,” People’s Choice, and Most Creative Team Name.
