“BCRFA feels like home!!  I’ve worked alongside three Program Directors: Dolly O’Neal, Jennifer Galbreath and Beth Bradner. Each has run the program in a manner that exemplifies human kindness, inclusivity and an overall sense of how much better or how much more can I do to ensure our message reaches the masses. There’s always a sense of what more can be done to help! The dedication that the leaders, the board and staff have to ensure the mission is fulfilled daily makes me want to do whatever I can, whenever I can. I don’t have millions or thousands to donate, but what I have I give willingly knowing that I, too, am a part of this very necessary enterprise.”

I volunteer because I truly like helping people. It makes me feel that I am making a difference in others’ lives without ever having to meet them, and in return, I hope that makes them feel someone does care.  I feel we were put on this earth to help one another, and giving my time and (sometimes my talents) is one way of accomplishing that.
