The 14th annual Pink Palace Casino Night raised $115,235 to fund local, lifesaving research across the state. 300 guests joined the BCRFA for an evening of fun and excitement.
BCRFA provided funds to help purchase and input some of the resources from which the UALCAN site pulls. As of December 2022, the UALCAN data-mining platform has had more than 1,080,000 page views from more than 100 countries.
The 12th annual Calera Goes Pink events raised $60,634 for local breast cancer research. Since 2010, the City of Calera and commounity partners have raised over half a million dollars for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama though the grassroots campaign.
Our 50+ community partners raised over $194,000 (and counting!) to support breast cancer research in Alabama throughout October. From across the state, companies and organizations big and small mobilized their employees, supporters, and customers in the fight against breast cancer.
The BCRFA announced it invested a total of $1,275,000 in Alabama-based breast cancer research this year. The grants will fund 24 research projects at seven institutions across the state,
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama relocated to a larger office in Mountain Brook last month, nearly tripling its space. The new location will provide space for a new hire, volunteers and future staff additions.
More than 400 racers crossed the finish line at this year’s Pink Up The Pace at Crestline Field in Mountain Brook, netting $31,469 to support breast cancer research across Alabama.
