BCRFA President & CEO Beth Davis Named Citizen of the Year by Women’s Committee of 100 for Birmingham

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama is proud to celebrate an incredible honor for our President & CEO, Beth Davis, who has been named 2026 Citizen of the Year by the Women’s Committee of 100 for Birmingham. This distinguished recognition highlights Beth’s unwavering dedication to the BCRFA’s mission, her impactful leadership, and her lasting contributions to the community.

The Citizen of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the people of the Birmingham metro area- someone whose leadership, humanitarian spirit, and commitment have positively impacted the lives of others and improved the quality of life in the community. Presented by the Women’s Committee of 100 for Birmingham, an organization founded in 1964 that works to promote civic leadership, community engagement, and the advancement of Birmingham and Alabama as a whole, this award honors individuals whose impact extends far beyond their professional achievements. Beth exemplifies each of these qualities through both her professional leadership and her deep passion for advancing groundbreaking breast cancer research in her home state.

Since joining BCRFA in 2014, Beth has helped lead the organization with vision, compassion, and determination. Under her leadership, BCRFA has continued to strengthen its mission of funding innovative breast cancer research while raising awareness and support for life-saving work happening across the state. Through her dedication and leadership, Beth has contributed to the BCRFA’s remarkable lifetime total of more than $17 million raised to advance breast cancer research.

This recognition is a well-deserved honor, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate Beth for this achievement. Her passion continues to drive the BCRFA’s mission forward and inspire those around her.
