BEAUTIFUL CLOTHES FOR A BEAUTIFUL CAUSE

2014 BETSY PRINCE CHARITY BAZAAR

Birmingham, Ala. – The 9th Betsy Prince Charity Bazaar raised nearly $13,000 for breast cancer research in Alabama from the sale of new and gently used designer clothing.

On Friday May 2, 2014, a special shopping preview night was held for those who had donated designer clothing, made a $25 contribution or had contributed to the charity fundraising event. In addition to supporting breast cancer research, guests of the evening enjoyed hors d’ oeuvres compliments of George Sarris’ Fish Market and beverages compliments of United Johnson Brothers and Coca Cola Bottling Company. The shopping extravaganza featured incredible discounts on designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. The bazaar continued on Saturday, May 3rd for all shoppers and fashionistas who wanted to take part of the upscale clothing sale. Many designers supported the charity bazaar by donating new clothing, shoes and accessories to benefit the cause. Some of the designers who participated were Johnny Was, Fly London and Hinaya. The select clothing and accessories were sold from $5-85. Saturday guests enjoyed Brio Tuscan Grille’s delicious pizzas and complimentary beverages. Proceeds from both days benefitted the Breast Cancer Research and their mission to fund breast cancer research at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center. Betsy Prince has announced the 10th Charity Bazaar will be held in the spring of 2017!
