BCRFA RAISES $69,000 AT PINK PALACE CASINO NIGHT

The 9th Annual Pink Palace Casino, presented Tameron Automotive on Saturday, April 22nd at Iron City, benefitted the work of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA), raising $69,000 for breast cancer research in Alabama.

The BCRFA takes a comprehensive approach to battling breast cancer through support of collaborative and innovative research to help diagnose, treat, prevent and eradicate the disease. All of the funds raised remain in Alabama, supporting local research, which in turn makes a national impact.

Guests enjoyed Vegas-style casino gaming featuring blackjack, poker, roulette, craps and slot machines. Winnings were cashed in for a shot at a variety of great prizes and guests placed their bets on high-rolling silent auction items. Over $2,000 was raised as guests took a chance to win a pair of beautiful diamond earrings and to stock their bar, compliments of Diamonds Direct, United Johnson Brothers of Alabama, and the Co-chairs of the evening. Co-chairs for the event were Anne-Michelle Barnett, Kim Comer, Jill Crawford, Diane Dudney, Kathy Emison, Kathy G. Mezrano, Cheryl Morton, Leslie Passafiume, Amy Stevens and Shaela Wise
