ARC Realty Surpasses Goal to Raise Over $11,400

ARC REALTY SURPASSES GOAL TO RAISE OVER $11,400 FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH THIS OCTOBER FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Birmingham, AL (December 2, 2019)—In October, ARC Realty launched their “Blue Goes Pink” initative to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. They exceeded their initial goal of $10,000 to ultimately raise over $11,400!

Blue truly went pink with ARC replacing their tradmark blue property signs with pink ones and each of the ARC Realty offices across the state participated in the campaign through a variety of channels to support Alabama breast cancer research. Events included bowling in Montgomery, a “Blue Goes Pink” night at On Tap, and more. ARC Realty pledged to donate $25 to the BCRFA for each new property listing that happened throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month. ARC Realty also opened up the campaign to their team members and communities who wanted to support the cause. 

“1 in 8 women and 1 in 1000 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Members of the ARC Realty team graciously shared their personal stories and connections with breast cancer throughout this campaign,” said Beth Davis, Executive Director of the BCRFA. “So many people are affected by this disease, and through individual and organizational support, we are able to continue working towards finding new treatment options and ultimately a cure.”

ARC Realty partner Dale McIntyre has a personal connection with breast cancer and the BCRFA. His mother was diagnosed in 1988 and unfortunately passed away ten years later from it. “Treatments have changed dramaticly in the years since my mom was undergoing treatment,” McIntyre says. “The BCRFA collects money to fund these projects [for new treatments] and is a wonderful organization.”
