DESCRIPTION:\nLace-up your sneakers to raise funds and awareness for local, life-saving breast cancer research on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the 9th annual Bolt for Breast Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run! Brought to you by the Junior Board of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama, Bolt for Breast Cancer is a day of fun and competition for the whole family. \nRegistration Coming Soon\n\nRace Details\n\nThe event includes a 5K race and “Dolly Dash” 1-mile fun run (kids can run, walk, bike, or “scoot” to the finish line).\nCheck-in and on-site registration open at 1 PM; Races start at 2 PM.\nRunners and walkers are welcome in both races\nTiming bibs provided to 5K participants\n\nPost-Race Highlights\nAfter the race join us for refreshments (snacks, beer, wine) and fun field activities, including face painting, music, inflatable fun, and more.\nRegistration Details\nRegistration is $35 for adults (ages 13+) and $25 for children (ages 4-12). Children 3 and under are free.\nEarly registration is highly encouraged as t-shirts and race bags are limited and distributed based on registration date. Walk-ups may register on-site beginning at 1 PM on event day.\n5K Details\n\nRegistration includes event t-shirt and race bag while supplies last and race bib with timing chip.\nOpen to runners and walkers of all ages. No bikes, scooters, or pets, please.\n\nDolly Dash 1-Mile Fun Run Details\n\nRegistration includes event t-shirt and race bag items while supplies last. Dolly Dash registration does not include a timing bib, but a race clock will be at the finish line.\nOpen to runners and walkers of all ages.
